Isthmus Montessori Academy Young Children’s Community
The Young Children’s Community provides one of the first experiences away from home for children with lessons and practice in movement, care of self, practical life, language, music, art and socialization.
The environment for the Young Children’s Community is specifically prepared to foster coordination and independence. Simultaneously, the space is beautifully prepared to encourage language development, grace and courtesy.
This level includes children between the ages of 12 months and when the child is a steady walker, to around the age of two and a half.
